Product review
Improved filtration media: The element uses a three-layer pleated cellulose–glass media designed to capture fine rust particles and grit that lower-quality filters can miss. The pleat design increases contaminant holding capacity so flow remains consistent over longer service intervals.
Vehicle fitment and scope: This fuel and water separator is produced for 6.7L Powerstroke diesel engines and is confirmed to fit Ford F‑250, F‑350, and F‑450 models from 2017 through 2026. Verify your model year and mounting configuration before ordering; the unit replaces the OE-style fuel/water element for those years.
Construction and performance: The canister is formed from high-strength carbon steel to withstand system pressure and handling. Independent lab testing verifies filtration efficiency to SAE J1985 standards, and the design separates free water from dirt, rust, and debris to protect pumps and injectors.
What you get and service notes: Each filter ships complete with the required o-rings for installation, so no additional seals are necessary. Install as a direct replacement and prime per your vehicle’s procedure. Recommended change intervals are generally every 5,000–10,000 miles, with 15,000 miles as an absolute maximum only if your manufacturer allows it.
Pros
- Three-layer pleated cellulose–glass media for finer filtration
- High-strength carbon steel housing meets SAE J1985 lab testing
- Includes required o-rings for immediate installation
Cons
- A few users have reported leakage issues
- Not an OEM‑branded filter
- Must be changed on a regular manufacturer-recommended schedule
VerdictDoc's Diesel supplies a robust fuel and water separator that uses a pleated, multi-layer filtration element and a reinforced steel housing. It installs like an OE part, ships with the necessary o-rings, and is lab-verified to meet SAE J1985 efficiency. Most owners report reliable fitment and filtration, though a minority have experienced leakage and reverted to factory components. Recommended to s

Bought these before and ordered again. They trap dust and debris well and fit perfectly. No leaks after 6,000 miles; I swapped them when I did the oil change.

Leaked; returned to OEM
Tried these in place of Motorcraft to save some money. Installation looked normal, but I found a large leak under the truck the next morning. After attempting a reseal, it continued to drip, so I swapped in Motorcraft parts and the assembly stayed dry. I’ll stick with OEM.

Haven’t installed them yet, but they appear to be high quality and nearly identical to the originals.
