Product review
Solid beech construction with a non-toxic, environmentally friendly finish. The natural grain offers an attractive surface while the wooden jaws help prevent marring on delicate pieces compared with metal clamping surfaces.
Compact and easy to move: the unit measures 18.5" × 11" × 2.7" and weighs approximately 13 lb, making it suitable for countertop, garage table, or studio use. Its low profile lets you convert many work surfaces into a functional woodworking station without occupying excessive space.
A built-in handle design distributes clamping force evenly across a 7.87" jaw opening, providing steady, tilt-free pressure for larger boards used in planing, chiseling, or cutting. The vise acts as a dependable "third hand" for holding stock while you work.
Designed for multiple tasks: carving, smoothing surfaces, cutting joints, and general DIY projects. It’s useful for hobbyists, beginners, and anyone working on small projects at home, in a studio, or on the go.
Comes ready to mount with two G-style fixing clips for tabletop attachment, four metal limit blocks with 0.6" holes for different clamping setups, plus one small wooden plate. All accessories are included so you can start using the bench vise right away.
Pros
- Durable solid beech body with protective finish
- Portable, compact dimensions and manageable weight
- Includes mounting clips and metal stop blocks
Cons
- Can move on smooth supports until permanently mounted
- Not a full-size bench for heavy-duty ripping
- Bench dogs and hardware sometimes need adjustment
VerdictThis compact beech-wood bench vise gives hobbyists a durable, movable clamping platform for small to medium woodworking tasks. It protects workpieces better than metal jaws and ships with mounting clips and stop blocks, though it can slip on unsupported surfaces and the hardware may need adjustments for precision work. Good for DIYers who need a portable third hand.

Perfect portable size for my work
Exactly what I needed: compact, attractive, and portable. It held up while I inletted parts on an old muzzleloader and mounts quickly. Simple to operate and durable so far.

Useful but needs tweaks
Solid concept but the supplied bench dogs are small and tapered, so they can tilt under pressure, especially with 1/4" stock. I enlarged the holes to accept standard dogs and bolted the base down with anchors — now it's much more dependable.

Damaged and misaligned on arrival
I ordered this for work on my boat but the wood arrived cracked and partially broken. Screws were loose and some holes were drilled off position, which made the unit hard to use until corrected.

Sturdy and reassuring for beginners
I began woodworking recently and needed something stable to hold pieces. This bench is pleasantly hefty and stays put during use. It raises work to a comfortable height and feels like it will endure regular projects.

Does the job
I've used it and it's straightforward to operate, giving a small but effective working surface. The vise and dogs have performed well, and it offers better value than some competing options.

Functional and affordable, not precision-grade
I expected it to be serviceable rather than match high-end workshop gear. It's strong and looks nice with a good finish, though I noticed a small chip and minor scratches. The box sits flat, the accessory stop is accurate, and the threaded parts were free of burrs.

Fits my niche setup
Good overall value for my needs. It needs a custom base or supports to stop it sliding; I made a small platform and it works well. Much cheaper than larger workshop models and suits my low-seated floor setup. Not as heavy-duty as full-size benches, but fine for my studio work.
