Product review
What you get: a 16-ounce bottle of carnauba-rich liquid wax (model 11171), formulated to be layered and polished to a high-gloss finish.
Composition and feel: the formula contains a heavy dose of carnauba for a warm, wet-looking clarity and depth of color. It is a polish-style wax rather than a detergent or cleaner, so it is intended to sit on finished paint to enhance shine and protection.
Surface and temperature: designed to be forgiving on both warm and cool panels; the blend minimizes streaking and hazing so it can be worked on a variety of surface conditions.
How to use: apply with a foam pad by hand or with an orbital polisher in a cross-hatch pattern. Allow the film to set for the recommended cure time, then remove with a soft microfiber or cotton cloth for a glossy, reflective finish. Multiple thin coats are possible for increased depth and durability.
Care notes: because this is a natural carnauba-heavy product, take care around seams, textured trim, and small crevices—over-accumulation can harden and require extra removal effort. Regular maintenance washes will extend the appearance benefits.
Pros
- Deep, reflective gloss
- Quick wipe-off formula
- Works by hand or machine
Cons
- Requires careful application in tight areas
- Needs cure time between coats
- Can be time-consuming to remove if it pools
VerdictDelivers a deep, wet-look gloss and lasting protection thanks to high carnauba content. Easy to wipe off and user-friendly when applied by hand or machine, but natural carnauba needs careful application around trim and crevices. Good value for detailers who prioritize rich shine.

Deep, slick gloss
Superb carnauba shine — applies smoothly and wipes away clean after it sets. Because it lacks heavy cleaners you can layer coats for added depth and protection. Great results for the price; I recommend trying two thin passes.

Consistently impressive shine
Solid product. I’ve tried many waxes and this one produces a very clean, glossy finish. It does require the suggested wait time before buffing, but the outcome makes the extra minutes worthwhile.

Professional results
Produces top-tier finish on my cars; I prefer to have it applied by pros. Goes on and comes off well when handled by experienced hands.

Exceptional longevity
I hesitated because of cost but it performed brilliantly. After two coats in autumn, water beaded well into late spring despite weekly washes. Easy to apply and remove by hand if you follow the directions.

Buttery, rich finish
Far superior for deep gloss compared with some ceramic products I’ve used. Ceramics hold beads longer but often lose visual depth; this wax gives immediate, creamy brilliance and buffs off cleanly on glossy paint.

Smooth, slippery shine
I’d tried many waxes without success due to solvent bases. After using Griot’s Show Wax the sheen was noticeably cleaner and more refined.

Good wax — waiting on durability
I used it on two vehicles and liked the gloss. Time will tell how long the protection holds up, but initial results are promising.

Carnauba needs patience
Natural carnauba demands attention in small gaps: it can harden in crevices and take effort to clear. I also had minor staining on plastic after over-buffing that required extra work to remove. Polymers are easier but feel different.
