Product review
What you get: a single, handmade slipmat cut from natural Portuguese cork, 3 millimeters thick and sized to fit standard vinyl platters. The package contains one cork platter mat printed with original artwork on the top face.
Material and build: crafted from genuine Portuguese cork, this mat is lightweight, compressible, and resistant to abrasion. The 3mm thickness is chosen to balance contact with the record and vibration control without elevating the record too far from the platter surface.
How it’s used: lay the cork mat directly on the turntable platter, center it, then place the vinyl record on top. The cork surface helps maintain steady contact, reducing micro‑slippage, rumble, and some mechanical noise while allowing normal stylus tracking.
Performance notes: cork tends to impart a warmer, more rounded low‑end compared with thin felt mats, and it can decrease unwanted platter resonance. Results vary by tonearm and cartridge; some users still report static in dry environments, while others find dust attraction reduced.
Sustainability and care: handmade and eco‑friendly, the cork mat is naturally renewable and easy to clean — gently wipe with a dry cloth. If the mat ships with a slight curl, weight it flat for a few days and it will generally settle flat again.
Pros
- Adds warmth and fuller low frequencies
- Helps reduce slipping and platter rumble
- Handmade from sustainable Portuguese cork
Cons
- Can arrive slightly warped from shipping
- Doesn’t remove static for every setup
- Minimal packaging may allow bending in transit
VerdictThis 3mm cork slipmat delivers a noticeable change in contact feel and can add warmth to low frequencies while helping prevent record movement. It won’t eliminate all static for every setup, and packaging can be an issue in transit, but its natural cork build, artistic print, and simple fit make it a solid upgrade for users who want improved platter contact and a visually pleasing mat on standard

Solid mat for vibration control
This helped with vibration and reduced slipping on my table. Doesn’t draw dust, and the aesthetic matches my bronze finish turntable well.

Works well, but packaging lacked care
The mat itself performed fine and the print looked great, yet it arrived bent and took a couple of days to flatten. For the price I expected sturdier packing.

Nice style boost for a budget deck
I can’t quantify an audio improvement as not an audiophile, but it’s at least not worse. It’s a little visual joy when swapping albums.

Nice cork mat, minor delivery issue
I like the cork and it reduces static on my system. It arrived slightly bent but flattened out after a few days under books.

Still deciding after long experience
I’ve collected records for over 40 years and I’ve been refining my playback. I experimented with different mats and arrived at cork and acrylic as my preferred choices depending on the music. The 3mm cork offers a warm, full presentation — richer bass and natural tone for drums, piano and acoustic guitars. I like switching mats depending on the record, and 3mm hits the sweet spot for my setup.

Beautiful print but arrived bent
Lovely artwork and solid quality if you can get a sale price. Shipping put it in a simple plastic bag and it arrived creased.
