Product review
Protection: The sling features a 100% polyester tubular outer sleeve that shields the internal load-bearing strands from contact damage. The colored sleeve follows EN 1492-2:2009 coding so capacity is easy to identify, and the sleeve helps prevent abrasion and soiling during transport and use.
Construction: Inside the sleeve the load-bearing element is made from 100% high-tenacity polyester yarn, wound continuously to create an endless loop. This design delivers high tensile strength, good abrasion resistance and improved resistance to UV exposure, grease and many common acids.
Reusability & Handling: The sleeve preserves the core fibers from cuts and wear, extending service life and allowing repeated reuse when properly inspected. The soft, flexible profile of the sling makes it easy to position, choke or basket around irregular loads with good contact and control.
Applications: Intended for rigging, hoisting and heavy lifting — compatible with engine hoists, cranes, gantries and manual lifts. Its flexibility makes it useful for lifting timbers, machinery and vehicle bodies without the surface marking typical of metal hooks.
Specifications: Color green, endless round sling, length 6 ft (approx.), vertical hitch capacity 5,300 lb, choker capacity 4,200 lb, basket capacity 10,600 lb. Width under load ~1-3/8 in, cord diameter ~7/8 in. Material: polyester. Service temperature range roughly -50 to 200 °F. Resists UV, grease and most acids. Meets ASME B30.9 and OSHA guidance. Includes a permanent identification tag with ratings and manufacturer details.
Pros
- High rated lifting capacities
- Protective tubular sleeve extends life
- Soft, flexible for precise positioning
Cons
- Synthetic slings require regular inspection
- Not intended for unprotected overhead lifting of people
- Some users may prefer heavier webbing for extreme abrasion
VerdictA durable, flexible lifting sling offering strong load ratings and abrasion resistance thanks to its polyester core and sleeve. It’s well suited for engine hoists, timber work and general rigging. Inspect before each lift and avoid overhead personnel risks as with any synthetic sling.

Versatile and well-constructed
Solid continuous loop. I use it to winch classic cars — won't scuff restored paint like metal hooks.

Not for overhead lifts
I wouldn't use this for overhead hoisting — feels lower quality than premium slings.
