Product review
What it is: A compact, intelligent 2-amp charger designed to charge and maintain 6-volt and 12-volt battery chemistries including flooded lead-acid, AGM, gel, SLA/VRLA, deep-cycle types and LiFePO4 cells. It serves as a charger, trickle maintainer and desulfator in one package.
Key features: An internal thermal sensor adapts the charge algorithm to ambient temperature to avoid overcharging in heat or undercharging in cold. Built-in pulse charging routines detect and work to reverse sulfation and acid stratification to help recover aging or neglected batteries. The unit can begin charging from very low voltages (around 1V) and offers a Force Mode to attempt recovery of batteries that read at zero volts.
How to use it: Connect the red clamp or eyelet to the positive terminal first, then the black to negative; select the appropriate battery chemistry when required and plug into AC power. For long-term storage, leave the charger attached—its monitoring logic maintains charge without harming the battery. Force Mode is an option for difficult-to-revive batteries but should be used with caution.
What's included: The kit ships with the 2A charger, a 72-inch AC power cord, an 80-inch DC lead that terminates in alligator clamps as well as integrated eyelet terminal connectors, a mounting bracket with screws, and a three-year limited warranty. The product is engineered and designed in the United States.
Compatibility: Suitable for use on a broad range of vehicles and equipment — passenger cars, motorcycles, ATVs/UTVs, lawn and garden equipment, tractors, RVs and boats — and works with batteries up to typical small to medium capacities encountered in these applications.
Pros
- Thermal sensing for temperature-adjusted charging
- Pulse desulfation to help restore battery health
- Safe for indefinite connection as a maintainer
Cons
- Only a 2A output, so full charging can be slow
- May require an extension cord for convenient placement
- Some users reported early unit failures before replacement
VerdictA compact, feature-rich 2A charger that handles charging, maintenance, and battery recovery for a wide range of 6V and 12V lead-acid and LiFePO4 batteries. Thermal sensing tailors charging to ambient conditions, pulse charging helps reverse sulfation, and Force Mode lets you revive batteries that are deeply discharged. The unit supports indefinite connection for maintenance without overcharging an

Saved me the cost of a new battery
This charger rescued a battery I was about to replace. It was so depleted I used the Force Charge mode and left it overnight; by morning the battery was usable again and the vehicle started much more crisply. The unit is simple to operate: plug in, attach clamps, and wait. I appreciate that it’s made in the U.S., which helped my buying decision.

Revived several dead batteries reliably
Bought this to replace an older trickle model that failed. I use it to maintain and recover batteries that get drained from lights left on or vehicles sitting idle. Charging pace is reasonable for a 2A unit; deeply dead batteries may still need longer or a jump start. It has brought back many batteries that I would have otherwise replaced. I avoid naming retailers, but it handled a variety of common replacement batteries from different brands and usually gets a drained battery to the point of starting after several hours.

Small but effective
A compact charger that has been flawless for maintaining my motorcycle and lawn tractor batteries during the off-season. It keeps them topped off and helps avoid annual replacements.

Great customer support after early failures
My first unit stopped working after a day, and my replacement did the same. Customer service handled returns and eventually sent a replacement at no charge that has worked perfectly. Not sure why the initial units failed, but support was responsive and helpful.

Keeps stored equipment batteries ready
I use it to prevent batteries in seasonal equipment from going flat. Hooked it to a trolling motor battery that was near dead, selected the correct mode, and it recovered the battery in about a day. The green maintenance indicator gives peace of mind that the battery will be ready when needed.

Owned multiple NOCO units — very satisfied
After trying several models from the same maker, I now own four units. They feel well built, with durable cables and bright status LEDs visible across the garage. Small touches like non-slip feet make them tidy to place on a workbench. I also purchased the cable extension accessory which made hooking up without opening hoods much easier.

Very good — I recommend it
Performs well for its intended use. Solid little charger and worth recommending for keeping batteries healthy.

Issue with European plug on one unit
Received a charger with a U.S.-style cord when I needed a French plug. Check the power lead before assuming it will match your outlet.

Ideal for topping off everyday car batteries
Owned since mid-2024 and used on two family SUVs. It defaults to a typical 12V setting when connected, so no extra setup is usually needed. To fully top off a standard 12V lead-acid battery expect to leave it on overnight—roughly 12 hours or more depending on state of charge. It’s handy for ensuring you have enough power to start when needed.

Perfect for a garaged, infrequently driven car
My spouse stopped driving and the parked car’s battery kept dying. After using a jump starter I decided to get this 2A model for maintenance. Setup was straightforward — connect positive then negative, plug in (you may need an extension cord for reach), choose the mode and let it monitor the battery. It keeps the vehicle ready with minimal fuss.

Watch the plug type for international use
Out of the box it worked, but the mains plug didn’t match local Australian outlets. You’ll need an adapter or different lead for non-U.S. sockets.

Versatile charger for AGM and lead-acid batteries
This unit is useful for many battery types including AGM and LiFePO4. It shows polarity warnings and several charge-level indicators. At 2 amps it can take more than a day to bring a very low battery up from the first level, but it does so gently and helps prolong battery life. For cars that sit unused, a maintainer like this can prevent long-term damage that brief engine starts won’t fix.
