Product review
What you get: a pair of XUKER neoprene diving boots available in 3mm or 5mm thickness for lighter or warmer protection.
Materials and construction: the outer is flexible neoprene while the interior uses a soft nylon lining designed to hold a thin layer of water against the skin, which your body heat warms. The toe and heel are reinforced for abrasion resistance, and a back zipper provides a snug closure. A small raised boss at the heel helps keep open-heel fin straps from sliding.
Sole and fit: the outsole is tough, non-slip rubber to shield feet from sharp or rough surfaces without sacrificing mobility. The boot has a low-profile shape so it works under fins or with a range of watersports footwear. Sizes are offered for men and women across common fits; several users recommend checking sizing carefully and considering a size down if you prefer a tighter fit.
How it’s used: slide the boot on and zip the rear closure for a secure fit; the nylon lining traps a layer of water that warms quickly. Designed for kayaking, surfing, jet skiing, sailing, bodyboarding, shore diving and general wading, the heel boss also pairs with open-heel scuba fins to reduce strap slip.
Pros
- Good thermal insulation from 3mm or 5mm neoprene
- Reinforced toe/heel and grippy outsole for protection
- Heel boss and rear zipper for secure fit with fins
Cons
- Tends to run large for some users
- Can admit water and feel heavier when flooded
- Low profile may not suit those wanting thicker soles
VerdictThese neoprene diving boots deliver solid thermal protection and foot shielding across many water activities. They’re well built with reinforced toe/heel, a secure rear zipper and a grippy sole, but some wearers find the sizing generous and they will admit water in during immersion. Overall a versatile, comfortable option for paddling, surfing, wading and scuba where warmth and protection matter.

Fantastic buy!
I use these for metal detecting on dry and wet sand. They keep sand out on dry ground and retain warmth when wet. The sole is thick enough to protect against sharp rocks, the zipper resists clogging, and they slide on and off easily. I’ll buy another pair when needed and highly recommend them.

Warm and true to size
Fits well and kept my feet warm during cold Michigan lake outings.

Warm and easy on
Matched my usual size and were simple to put on even wet. Kept fin straps secure and were comfortable in 70°F water.

Order a size down
I usually wear 11.5–12 and ordered 12; they felt loose. Well made and effective otherwise.

Reliable foot protection for surfing
Used them in a dozen surf sessions and they saved my feet from cuts and bruises on reefs. Also cut down on sunburn. They don’t keep water out — they fill quickly and add weight — but the protection is why I bought them and I’m very happy.

Great for wade fishing
Took these wade fishing in Corpus Christi. Lighter and more flexible than standard wading boots, and my feet stayed dry after two hours. I’ve recommended them to friends.

Solid wetsuit boot with roomy fit
Worked well as wetsuit boots — easy to don and mostly kept water out. Kept my feet warm in sub-60°F water for hours. They run slightly large (I wear size 11 and the 11 felt roomy). Very comfortable and well stitched with no durability issues so far.
