What’s included
The package ships with the thermometer, a soft storage pouch, two AAA batteries installed or included, a quick‑start leaflet, and a full operating manual.
Design and materials
The handheld device is molded in white plastic with a top infrared sensor and a removable magnetic probe cover. A backlit LCD on the front shows large numerals and icons, and two physical buttons control power and measurement mode. The battery compartment slides open on the underside and includes a C/F selector switch inside. The device measures roughly 5.5 inches long and weighs about 2.93 ounces with batteries.
How it works
The magnetic probe cap auto‑switches the unit between ear and forehead modes: remove the cap for direct ear readings, attach it for no‑touch forehead scans. The infrared sensor returns a temperature in about one second and will also report surface temperatures for milk, food, bath water and room readings within the 32°F–212°F (0°C–100°C) range. A three‑color fever alert indicates normal, low‑grade, or high fever at a glance.
Accuracy, alerts and modes
The thermometer is cleared under FDA 510(k) and uses high‑precision sensors rated at about ±0.2°C (±0.4°F). It supports Fahrenheit or Celsius, auto shut‑off, and low battery warnings. A silent mode (press and hold the button for five seconds) disables audible beeps for undisturbed nighttime checks while the illuminated display remains easy to read in dark rooms.
App and health tracking
Pairing to the companion Anriwell app enables creation of multiple family profiles, cloud synchronization, fever history with charts and calendar views, and PDF export for medical appointments. The app can consolidate other metrics (blood pressure, oxygen saturation) into health summaries so caregivers can track several people in one place.
FSA/HSA and intended use
The thermometer is FSA/HSA eligible for customers who qualify. It is intended for routine home temperature monitoring; consult a medical professional for health concerns.
Tips for reliable readings and pairing note
Ear measurements are generally closer to core temperature; forehead readings typically run about 0.5–0.9°F lower. Small variances between repeated measures (±0.4°F same ear within a minute, ±0.5°F between ears) are normal. Avoid measuring immediately after exercise, bathing, or heavy eating. For ear mode, gently straighten the canal (up‑back for adults, down‑back for children); for forehead mode ensure the skin is dry. Important: the printed QR on the product is for FDA traceability only and will not pair the device. To add the thermometer to the Anriwell App 2.0 follow: Profile > Device Center > Click "+" with Bluetooth enabled and the thermometer powered on.

Perfect for keeping a unit at my mom’s
I bought this to keep at my mom’s house so we wouldn’t have to haul a thermometer back and forth. It’s dependable and easy to use. Removing the cap gives an ear reading; putting it on allows a no‑touch forehead scan, which is handy with squirmy kids.

Accurate readings and helpful history view
I value the app history and charts — they make it easy to review how temperatures changed. The magnetic cover flips between ear and forehead modes without fuss, so I don’t have to juggle parts. One‑second results are a real advantage when people are uncomfortable.

Great for caregivers tracking multiple people
As someone managing care for older and younger relatives, the app makes documentation simple. I can show the doctor who had which temps and when. The device display is bright and clear, and it captures temperatures practically instantly.

Useful dual‑mode thermometer with quiet night checks
My old thermometer started acting up, so I picked this one. It does everything I need and the silent mode is great — I can check my baby while they're asleep without noisy beeps. The app is a nice extra I plan to explore.

Large backlit numbers, quick reads, app for logs
The LCD is easy to read and lights up nicely. Point at the forehead, press the button and it beeps when finished — quicker than many others I’ve tried. There’s a child/adult mode shown on the screen, removable cap for ear mode, and object surface readings. A C/F switch lives inside the battery compartment.

Works fine standalone if you skip the app
The thermometer functions perfectly without ever connecting to the app — turn it on, take a reading, done. The tracking features are impressive but are the main reason this model costs more; if you won’t use cloud sync or reports it may be more than you need.
