Product review
Full-height stretch post: Standing 29 inches tall when assembled, the post gives cats space to extend fully while scratching and stretching. It’s intended for indoor use and fits neatly next to couches, cat beds, or in compact corners.
Sisal-wrapped scratching surface: The central column is tightly wrapped with natural sisal rope to provide a coarse texture that appeals to many cats and helps divert scratching away from upholstery and carpets.
Plush-covered stabilizing base: The post mounts to a 14 x 14 in square base finished in soft plush fabric. The padded base helps the unit blend into living spaces while providing a low-profile footprint for everyday scratching.
Playful hanging toy included: A plush ball hangs from the top of the post to encourage batting and pouncing between scratches, adding interactive enrichment without needing additional floor toys.
Hardware and assembly: All mounting hardware and a simple tool are included for straightforward setup. The assembled dimensions are approximately 14 x 14 x 29 inches, and the post can be positioned alongside furniture or in an area your cat frequents.
Pros
- Tall enough for full-body stretches
- Durable sisal surface appeals to many cats
- Compact plush base fits in small spaces
Cons
- Sisal can wear down with heavy use
- Pole is relatively thin and can wobble
- Base material may feel flimsy to some users
VerdictThis 29-inch sisal post offers full-body stretching room, a soft plush base for indoor placement, and a dangling plush ball to invite batting. It assembles quickly with the included hardware and tool and suits most kittens and adult cats, though heavy scratchers may wear the rope faster and some users report a narrow pole. Overall, it’s a compact, functional option for redirecting clawing from fur

Compact scratcher, big impact
Simple, space-saving post that does the job. Our two cats use it daily as a cue when they want outside. Assembly was just two pieces and one screw; it stays secure and suits even our larger cats.

Huge hit with my pair
This was the first post I bought and both cats love it. My large girl uses it confidently and it hasn’t tipped. The hanging ball is still attached and the unit holds up despite heavy daily use. I recommend it.

Works well in a multi-cat household
Our multiple cats use this daily. Replacement posts are available, which helps extend the unit’s life. Assembly is simple and it holds up under frequent use.

Cats adore it — consistent performer
All three of our heavy scratchers use this regularly and it lasts for months. I brought an assembled one into the house and a cat immediately leapt on it. Sturdy, effective, and I’ll buy more.

Simple to assemble and clean, tall enough for adult use, and the cats really enjoy it.

Easy to assemble, cat approved
Very simple setup — just two screws. My cat started scratching it before I finished putting it together. Very pleased.

All five of my cats use it
Tall enough for adults and usable by kittens on the lower portion. My cats prefer this sisal wrap over the flat-angle style I tried. When the top gets worn you can unscrew and swap sections to keep using it — not pretty, but functional. I do wonder about recyclability.

Reliable post I've repurchased several times
I’ve bought multiples over the years for our two cats. We keep the best three and replace worn rope pieces when needed. The sisal eventually frays but the pole and base often stay usable. You can skip the small carpet section and assemble it as one continuous post. Our large, strong cat has never toppled it—tall enough for him and generally dependable.

Sturdy with a large base
Solid product and the wide base gives good stability. My cat plays with it a lot and it looks nice in the room.

Too slim for my cat’s liking
A bit wobbly and the pole is narrow. My cat prefers an older, thicker post with more girth.

Base failed quickly for me
The base split the first time a cat hit it. It appears to be thin chipboard folded for packaging, and the bolt recess creates a weak spot. Poorly thought out at the mounting point.

Cat absolutely loves it
Small review: my cat is obsessed with this post.

Not ideal for my cat’s preferences
My cat refuses rope surfaces and prefers firmer textures like wood or metal, so he ignores this. Assembly was effortless—everything screws together. I wish the posts were marked for top and bottom and that the middle carpet rocker was omitted; otherwise construction felt adequate.
