Product review

What's included: the compact sunrise alarm/sound machine, a USB power adapter and cable, and a quick-start guide. The unit combines an LED light dome, speaker array and tactile control buttons for on-device setup.

Materials and build: molded ABS plastic housing with a soft-touch finish, a frosted acrylic diffuser for the light dome, silicone buttons and a micro-USB power socket. Internal components include full-range speaker drivers and multi-color LEDs calibrated for gradual color transitions.

Dimensions & weight: approximately 4.7 x 4.7 x 3.2 inches (12 x 12 x 8 cm) and roughly 0.6 lb (270 g), small enough for nightstands and nursery shelves.

Sound library & alarms: offers 30 premium, non-looping tracks that blend organic lofi melodies, meditation tones and healing frequencies with traditional white, pink, and brown noise. Seven selectable alarm tones and customizable volume let you tailor your wake-up. Sunrise simulation ramps brightness over any duration between 5 and 60 minutes before the alarm.

Lighting & display: choose from 10 ambient color modes for reading, relaxing or a sunset effect. Brightness and the digital clock display are adjustable to suit bedroom or nursery needs.

Sleep timers & usage: set smart wind-down sessions between 15 and 180 minutes; the device will fade sound and light automatically. Designed for screen-free operation — no app, no Wi‑Fi — so setup is quick and controls are all on the unit.

Pros

  • Thirty non-looping, varied sleep tracks
  • Customizable 5–60 minute sunrise simulation
  • No app or Wi‑Fi; easy on-device controls

Cons

  • Sound timer maxes at 180 minutes
  • No overnight continuous sound mode
  • Limited to on-device scheduling options

VerdictSolid option for anyone who wants a natural-feeling wake-up and better sleep. The collection of non-repeating sounds and the flexible sunrise timing make mornings gentler, while the ambient lights and sleep timer support evening routines. It’s easy to use without an app and suitable for bedrooms, nurseries, and offices.

    Solid unit, small limitation

I enjoy it, but wish the sound machine could run indefinitely rather than stopping at 180 minutes.
