Product review
This filtered shower head is supplied as a complete, ready-to-install unit that includes thread tape, a small wrench for tightening, and a clear pictorial installation manual. The exterior components are manufactured from 304 stainless steel combined with lead-free brass fittings, delivering a weighty, metal finish intended to last longer and look cohesive with metal plumbing fixtures.
Filtration is handled by a built-in KDF-55 cartridge, the same media commonly used to address chlorine and certain heavy metals in municipal and well water. The filtration system has been independently tested to meet NSF/ANSI 177 criteria for shower filtration, supporting measurable chlorine reduction in typical hard water scenarios.
The spray face measures 6 inches across and is engineered to provide a high-pressure rainfall-style flow. Internally the head includes a durable rubber spray liner and a removable inner liner for routine cleaning. The unit connects to standard 1/2" shower arms and is designed to thread on in minutes without specialized plumbing work.
Because the body is all-metal rather than plastic, the shower head is heavier and feels more like a fixture. It ships fully assembled and includes the accessories needed for installation; users sometimes need their own tools to remove existing fixtures. Replacement filter cartridges are available separately for periodic change.
Pros

- KDF-55 filtration reduces chlorine/heavy metals
- Wide 6" high-pressure rainfall spray

VerdictThis all-metal filtered shower head combines durable 304 stainless and lead-free brass construction with a third-party-tested KDF-55 cartridge to lower chlorine and some heavy metals in hard water. The 6-inch rainfall design delivers a powerful, even spray that rinses well while feeling smooth on skin and hair. It’s built like a fixture rather than a plastic add-on and comes with thread tape, a wr

Softer hair and skin after first use
Pleased so far — all metal, no plastic parts touching the water, and my hair felt softer after the first shower. The filter seems to be doing its job. Pressure is great and the shower was enjoyable. Not affiliated with the maker; just reporting a good experience.

Clean-feeling water and strong flow
I love how much cleaner the water feels now. Super easy to install — my husband was surprised at the difference. He’s particular about pressure and was happy with the larger head and performance. We’re on a three-month filter refill schedule.

Too heavy for my setup — returning
I’m returning this shower head because it’s heavier than I expected and doesn’t work with my mount. I’m having trouble getting a refund; they offered a replacement I don’t want.

Noticeable craftsmanship and filtered feel
I ordered this for the metal construction and it arrived well packaged with everything needed for a quick install. The water passing through the built-in cartridge felt noticeably improved right away. A high-quality feel and would recommend.

Sturdy, all-metal; opened it to inspect
Very impressed with the build. After comparing many plastic filter heads, I bought this for the full metal body and weight. I disassembled the faceplate to confirm the outer plate was metal (it was) — the unit ships assembled. I installed it in under five minutes; it included the accessories needed though I used my own wrench to remove my old head. Pressure is good, the inner rubber liner feels durable and is easy to remove for cleaning. Will update after longer use.

Premium feel, performs well in hard water
Surprised by how solid and heavy the construction is — it feels upscale and the packaging reflected that. The filter handled our very hard water well. Curious to see how long each cartridge lasts; replacement cartridges are sold but disassembly to change the filter isn’t immediately obvious. Still recommend it overall.

Heavy, well-made; finish slightly shinier
Installation was straightforward and the pressure is solid. We bought the brushed-nickel finish; it’s a touch shinier than our other fixtures but still looks good. The water felt different — my wife said it seemed heavier, though pressure remains adequate. Hoping it helps with her hair and my scalp condition over time.
