Creamy Tropical Smoothie: a cool, refreshing drink made with pineapple, mango, banana and strawberry. Quick and simple to prepare, it’s perfect for starting your morning on a bright note.

One evening I wanted to use the fruit I had on hand—pineapple, mango and banana—to make a smoothie. I asked the Lovefoodies Facebook group for ideas, combined several suggestions, and ended up with this tasty blend. It’s incredibly easy and takes only a few minutes to make.
Using strawberry yogurt gives the smoothie extra creaminess and body. You can substitute any flavored yogurt you prefer or use plain yogurt if you like.
This smoothie has a bright tropical flavor and was naturally sweet because the fruit was ripe. If you prefer it sweeter, add honey a little at a time and taste as you go.

Ingredients
5 pineapple rings
2 mangoes, peeled and chopped
1 ripe banana
1 glass (about 1 cup) strawberry yogurt
1 tray of ice cubes (or about 1–2 cups of ice)
Instructions
1. Place the pineapple, mango and banana in a blender. Use the pulse setting or blend until the fruit is smooth.
2. Add the strawberry yogurt and blend briefly until fully combined.
3. Add the ice cubes and pulse until the texture is chilled and slightly thickened.
4. Pour into glasses and serve immediately. Enjoy!
