Product review

Compatibility and included hardware: The kit includes the 13.78" flexible gooseneck arm, a standard low-profile mic arm clip, and an adjustable desk clamp. The clip accepts many dynamic microphones out of the box and is designed to work with popular USB models such as Blue Snowball and HyperX SoloCast.

Construction and finish: The arm and clamp are machined from aluminum alloy for long-term strength. The gooseneck measures 13.78" in length with a shaft thickness of 0.48" and is finished in a high-quality baked paint that resists wear and looks professional. The construction is intended to provide quiet, controlled movement during live recording and presentations.

Clamp details and protection: The upgraded desk clamp is forged from aluminum alloy and secures to tabletops up to 2.56" thick. A soft protective cushion on the clamp prevents scratches to furniture. For best results, attach to a flat, straight edge rather than a rounded or tapered surface.

Range of motion: The base and gooseneck allow full 360° rotation and smooth multi-axis bending so you can direct the microphone precisely where needed. The arm turns easily within the clamp, enabling rapid repositioning for speeches, streaming, or studio work.

Use cases: This microphone holder is suitable for podiums, lecterns, pulpits, desks and other platforms used for speeches, meetings, podcasting, DJing, streaming and gaming. It’s designed to simplify placement and provide reliable support in event and broadcast contexts.

Installation and maintenance: Assembly is straightforward—attach the clamp to the edge, insert the gooseneck, and secure the mic clip. Periodic tightening of the clamp hardware may be needed depending on vibration or heavy usage. If a specific microphone’s thread or diameter differs, an adapter can be fitted to the clip.

Pros

  • Sturdy aluminum construction
  • Wide compatibility with popular mics
  • Smooth 360° positioning

Cons

  • Clip may require an adapter for some mics
  • Clamp needs a flat edge to hold best
  • Heavier mic heads may need occasional retightening

VerdictA solid, aluminum gooseneck microphone mount that delivers quiet, accurate positioning and broad compatibility. The clamp and tubing are robust and stable, while some microphones may need an adapter and occasional tweaks are required on uneven edges.

Reviews

  1. Boogaloo 1/5

    Arrived damaged

Unit arrived broken and nonfunctional; threaded screws were stripped.

  2. Mary Morris 5/5

    Adapter needed for wider microphones

My microphone was too large for the supplied clip, so I purchased a separate adapter. Once fitted, it worked without issue.

  3. JoJo Cerda 5/5

    Does exactly what it says

Matches the listing and the clamp holds firmly. No problems so far; exactly what I needed.

  4. Victor Dominquez 3/5

Tends to sag with upward positioning

Attractive and well built, but the neck slowly drifts downward when positioned up because of mic weight. My mic isn’t heavy, so I expected firmer hold; frequent small adjustments are needed.

  5. Linda O 5/5

Strong hold but avoid curved edges

Simple to put together and grips well. I mounted it on a lectern with a slightly curved lip; it stayed put but wouldn’t tolerate active movement of the gooseneck. The arm itself is very stiff and dependable.

  6. Librado Niño 5/5

Good for podiums, needed tweaks for my piano setup

Bought for placement on an upright piano. The gooseneck and clamp felt solid, but the mic clip didn’t hold my microphone reliably — it slipped into the piano once and I had to replace that part. A small clamp screw rattled with the instrument’s vibration until I taped it down. Overall excellent for podium use, but plan on minor adjustments for piano mounting.

  7. Uncle Ronnie 5/5

    Solid, attractive, dependable

The tubing is rigid and resists sagging. The finish looks nice and the clamp grips the arm securely. Good value for the quality.

  8. Clem 5/5

    Very sturdy and adjustable

Feels robust, offers firm adjustment and overall great functionality for the price point.

  9. Clyde T. 5/5

    Perfect for my lectern

Mounted cleanly to my lectern and keeps the microphone exactly where I want it during speeches.

  10. Cynthia Wade 4/5

Looks promising, not yet in use

Arrived quickly and seems well made. I haven’t had the chance to use it in a gig yet, but the build appears solid.
